Digital Transformation Readiness Checklist
A checklist for assessing whether — and how — to move a manual or legacy-dependent process onto modern software.
- Have you mapped the current process step by step, including where it actually breaks down today?
- Have you identified which steps exist only because of paper/spreadsheet limitations (and should be removed, not digitized)?
- Do you know which process has the highest cost in staff time or errors — the one to tackle first?
- Is there a plan to run the new system alongside the old one during transition, where feasible?
- Have the staff who do this process daily been consulted, not just management?
- Is the migration phased, with a defined first slice, rather than an all-at-once cutover?
